In the ancient pre-Firefox 4 era, the tabs were below the other toolbars and the navigation toolbar blended into the titlebar, so it made sense for a drag originating from the navigation toolbar to move the window. Now, in tabs on top mode, dragging the titlebar or the blank area of the tab bar moves the window; dragging a tab moves the tab (even more directly once we land tab animations); dragging the toolbar moves the window. We'd like to disable moving the window via a drag originating from non-tab-bar non-addons-bar toolbars when tabs are on top.
Why? They're still fairly dark, and Dark Means Draggable.
Oh, you mean because the active tab and the toolbar form a visual unity, and it's unintuitive to have different draggability scopes on different parts of the same visual element. I'm almost convinced.

I'm almost convinced. Yes. Dragging the toolbar is really dragging the _active tab_'s toolbar, so it shouldn't do anything and certainly shouldn't move the window. I've discussed this with Faaborg.
Okay :)
