Ah, yes.  The attribute set suck in scrollframe plus editor deciding to do nontrivial work off that EndUpdate.  Why didn't it already do this work before?

    
    

    
  
This is fixed by the first patch in bug 612128.  I'll write a crashtest for it.

Well, the assertion here is intermittent.  As Jesse correctly pointed out, bug 617856 is in fact a dupe of this one.  The intermittent behavior of the assertion lead m to falsely believe that the issue is fixed, while it's not...
