User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:2.0b7) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0b7
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:2.0b7) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0b7
I tried entering into yahoo mail (their new one) and my tabs froze. The tab with the mail was stuck in loading. I can still scroll up and down but unable to click anything. Same thing happens when I tried to do a search on animenewsnetwork.com. Everything worked just fine as long as the scripts are blocked (NoScript addon), but as soon as I allowed animenewsnetwork.com the search froze the tabs. This also makes firefox unable to close, even if I close the client it remains running in the background so I'm unable to reopen the browser.
I'm not sure if this part is related to the bug or not, but I'm also unable to access the feedback ("firefox made me happy/sad because") for some reason. It keeps telling me I'm not using the beta 7.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.allow scripts to run
2.enter a site that relies heavily on a script/flash
3.everything freezes. Able to scroll up and down the web page and minimize/close window. But nothing else.
Actual Results:
Finished loading the web page.

Does the issue still occur if you start Firefox in Safe Mode? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode
How about with a new, empty profile? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Basic+Troubleshooting#Make_a_new_profile
Ok I see the problem now. I tried a clean copy it still did the same, but there was only 3 addons still on and after testing all 3 it seems McAfee Site Advisor 3.3 was the cause.
Disabled it with the default profile everything working just fine again.

Reopening since now in the McAfee section, so something for them to sort out.

Is this still an issue with that latest version of Firefox and McAfee SiteAdvisor?

Went through the issue using the following builds/versions:
- latest Nightly build available here: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/2013-03-10-03-09-06-mozilla-central/
- McAfee SiteAdvisor 3.6.0.187
- Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 x86
Installed the latest version of Flash and went to the following websites as directed in the original issue:
- animenewsnetwork.com - Passed (no issues searching, browsing or playing video's)
- Yahoo Mail - Passed (no issues searching, browsing)
Also went through some other heavy used Flash websites without any issues:
- wechoosethemoon.org (no issues)
- youtube.com (no issues)
- waterlife.nfb.ca (no issues)
Boris, can you reproduce the original issue with the latest build of Nightly?
