Steps:
1) Open m.youtube.com
2) click on any video
3) click on big video placeholder with PLAY button

EXPECTED:
Fullscreen video playback should be opened

ACTUAL:
youtube desktop page opened and suggesting to play video in flash player...


something is really wrong here...
Tested with Default (webkit), and opera browsers, and it works fine there...

Can we do anything about it? or should we complain to youtube about this problem?

Even after joining the Youtube HTML5 beta, videos don't seem to play correctly.

This works for me in current trunk builds after joining the HTML5 beta.  Please re-open if you can still reproduce this problem.

Several issues:
(1) Youtube still serves us their desktop page if you go to www.youtube.com, and even going to m.youtube.com and opting in to the HTML5 trial, plays a small HTML5 video in a desktop page. Is that what we want for 2.0?
(2) The video is really choppy and hard to watch - that may be captured in a separate bug, though.

But, the video plays, which is what this bug says. Please open new bugs for those two other issues.
