Restoring a closed tab using Ctrl-Shift-T or the history menu results in the restored tab being in a new tab group all by itself.
This problem only surfaces if a new tab group has been created at some point.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Create a new tab group.
2.Close any tab in any group.
3.Undo close tab.
Actual Results:
The restored tab is in a new tab group all by itself
Expected Results:
Tab should be restored to appropriate group.

From my testing, closed tabs are being restored to the currently displayed/selected tab group as opposed to original tab group. I don't know if this is by design or because of the way SessionStore stores tab groups.

This was unfortunately a regression that wasn't fixed in time for beta9. However it will be in the next beta.

It says bug 624265 is fixed in the Trunk load, but I could reproduce the problem the other day.

This is not a duplicate auf 624265. It is rather related to bug 587874.

Tim, can you explain why this bug is different than bug 624265? The STR, as far as I can tell, seems the same...

Ah sorry I should have read the description - I just read the title. So I thought this is about the problem that 'Undo close' restores the tab in the current tab group which is not necessary the tab group it used to be in.
What I mean is filed under bug 607411 and is apparently wontfix. Sorry for the bug spam :)
