When you drag&drop multiple extensions from the Finder into the add-ons manager window, you will recognize a long delay until the install dialog comes up. For it's mostly 1s per extension and as more extensions I add, I count 1s up on each of them. Does it really take so long to copy the extension to another partition and unpack the install.rdf for validation? Or do we have some strange delays? The overall size of all 8 dropped extensions is about 1.2MB and it takes nearly 9 seconds.

Henrik, does this still exist for you?

The problem here is that we check AMO for extension compatibility each of those extensions. That's why it's sometimes slow in progressing the installation. Not sure if there has been filed another bug already for that.
Blair and Vlad, do you know?

Yeah, I really think it's a dupe. Marking as such.
