Details
Since the goal of bug 628654 was to restore perceived (page load) speed, I think we can get away with not showing the floating status for XHR and sub-frame updates.

Silverlight video pray back. around 0:15, the floating status re-appears.
Is this related to this bug?

I think so. I did intend for this bug to cover all sub-resource loads, and it looks like that page is dynamically loading images.
