Automatic proxy configuration doesn't work. While activated I cannot access any site, including the one on which the proxy configuration resides.

User-Agent: Mozilla/4.75 [en] (Win98; U)
BuildID: 2000121804
When trying to use the Automatic proxy configuration feature, I end up with a
browser which cannot reach any site. This includes the site which is supposed to
send me the proxy configuration.
When using the direct Internet access configuration, I can reach the site which
is supposed to provides me with the proxy config. However, I cannot go out of my
private network since the proxy is not configured properly.
I must mention this is working with Netscape 4.76. So, it is not related to a
bad proxy configuration or wrong URL for the proxy configuration file.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Select the automatic proxy configuration from the Preferences->Advanced menu
2.Enter a valid URL
3.Try to access a site.
Actual Results: Nothing. The browser stay blank.
Expected Results: Get the page referenced by the URL.
It is working fine with Netscape 4.76 (this is the browser and same URL for
proxy config I am using right now to enter this bug report).
