"Application Font" Size too Large

Details
I don't even know if I'm using the term "Application Font" right... I just mean
that the "File", "Edit", ... menus; the URL box; the Bookmarks; the contents of
all subwindows; and so on, are all way too large. Approx. 14pt (?).
I had been using M18-3, and it had a much more reasonable font size. When I
upgraded to the nightly that looked favorable according to
www.mozillazine.org/build_comments (December 20, 2000), I was blown out of my
seat by the huge font.
At my old company, we had these pagers that had two font sizes: Legibly small,
and what everyone called, "'tard Mode". The font is currently in Tard Mode for
sure. If it was an intentional decision to make it that large, it should
certainly be configurable.
It is completely possible that it is already configurable, but I had a hard time
discovering where to change it. Is this an issue with the skin I'm using? If
so, the skin upgrade is the one at fault, and my complaint instead lies with it.
Forgive me, please, if this is a dup', I tried searching a number of times and
couldn't quite find anything mentioning this. If it is a dup', I'll polish my
bug-searching-skills before I file another one.
If you need any more details, or would like me to pinpoint the exact build where
the font size grew, I would be happy to help.
Thanks,
- Ryan King

This is a bug in the way mozilla gets system fonts under linux that was
showcased by the modern theme switching to system fonts on 12-19.
If you are _not_ using the modern theme (or a theme based on modern), then this
is a different bug and you should reopen it.
