User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:2.0b12pre) Gecko/20110218 Firefox/4.0b12pre
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:2.0b12pre) Gecko/20110218 Firefox/4.0b12pre
The Menu bar elements are almost unusable.
Text runs off screen.
Web page graphics have a triangle type 'border' applied at random around images edges.
Text of menu elements includes pixelization with a crazy and random pattern.
*It looks like my GPU would be dying, but all other apps work normally with the same pages, etc (including Chrome 9, 11 and IE 9).
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Minefield
2. Cringe
3.
This is something to do with Direct2D I'm thinking. HTML and all web page text is fine...it's just the graphical elements that suffer. For example, this bug report page looks perfectly fine, while my menu bar has lotsa artifacts.

Could you see if the issue occurs with a new, empty profile:
http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Basic%20Troubleshooting#w_make-a-new-profile
Please can you paste the contents of the graphics section shown at the end of
the about:support page - thanks!
Also, try turning off hardware acceleration in prefs, restarting Minefield and then seeing if it still occurs.

Please post the graphic section from about:support and mark it as dupe of bug 635463 if your graphic acceleration is disabled

Moreover, test against a 32-Bit Build of Firefox ....
Happens with graphic acceleration enabled/disabled
Adapter DescriptionMobile Intel(R) 965 Express Chipset FamilyVendor ID8086Device ID2a02Adapter RAMUnknownAdapter Driversigdumd64 igd10umd64 igdumdx32 igd10umd32Driver Version8.15.10.1930Driver Date9-23-2009Direct2D EnabledtrueDirectWrite Enabledtrue (6.1.7600.20830, font cache n/a)WebGL Renderer(WebGL unavailable)GPU Accelerated Windows1/1 Direct3D 10
32 bit works fine with latest build...64 bit still wonky
Ill put up a screenshot...but to give an idea it looks like early direct2d efforts
screenshot here:
http://gobliina.com/minefield64bugshots/Minefieldx64-artifacts-on-css-transformed-images.png
Have tried following:
1. cycled (enable/disable) gpu acceleration...
2. disabled all add ons...
3. created new profile...
To confirm this started after I applied build late in the night of 2/18/11. I have been applying updates daily for some time so it is build 20110219030201 that created the 'regression'.

Just to confirm it's the menu bar that's bad as well as any CSS transformed images
(I also noticed it on CNN.com graphics which were rounded)
