If I start Thunderbird than my toolbar everytime flickers white. It also flickers if the mainwindow goes from background back to activ state, e.g. if you open the addressbook and close it.
I don't see this flickering in Firefox and I can stop this flickering if I set layers.acceleration.disabled to true.

Hum so we are doing something a bit different than Firefox which make TB flicker. I wonder what that could be.

I see this in Firefox, too. It looks exactly like back when we had bug 432131.
Component: Mail Window Front End → Widget: Cocoa
Product: Thunderbird → Core
QA Contact: front-end → cocoa
Hardware: x86 → All
Summary: White flickering in toolbar on Mac → Title bar flickers when activating / deactivating a window, color change is not simultaneous
