QA is creating an apache instance for testing against. It will hold existing litmus content from HG. As part of having the apache server, we will now be able to do SSL testing. To facilitate this, we need a Domain Validated SSL certificate (DV Cert) for *.mozqa.com.

I'm assigning this to you, mrz, but I'm sure there is someone better to assign this to. Since this is a Mozilla cert, I'm assuming that I have to go through IT. This is needed for manual and automated testing of SSL by QA. Currently, we rely on third party sites to do SSL testing (or mozilla.com and mozilla.org) and would like to be able to do it on the mozqa.com box.

Do you actually need a wildcard one for this? I'm able to quickly get a non-wildcard one. Also you might need to update the country on this CSR too.

Well, since it is the same CSR, I expect so. We'd like a wildcard cert as it gives us more longterm flexibility.

Any update on getting this DV cert?
