On opening the find bar, the link hover box moves immediately to the right side of the screen. On closing, however, the box remains on the right until you next mouse over a link. This means that if a document is loading, all of the status messages are displayed on the right side of the screen, which is not ideal.
4.0RC, by the way.

Why does it move to the right side in the first place?
It should stay on the left.

You shouldn't need to change where you look depending on if the find bar is open.
The find bar takes up the whole length of the screen anyway, so there's really no reason for it to be moving around. Unless I'm not seeing something here?
Terry, it changes sides for the reasons given in bug 631270.
Depends on: 631250
The status panel doesn't switch sides anymore for the find bar (bug 631250).
