ah did a little testing since it worked in safe mode and found out that the mcafee site advisor addon is responsible for it. works fine with 10 other addons but not with this one.

um another interesting fact. seems like mcafee site advisor was also responsible for laggy tab closing. in the past, a lot of tabs were stuck for like 2-5 seconds before they closed, but now its instantaneous no matter how many i have open

switched to avast webrep addon, same function without the bugs/lagg. it would still be nice to get it fixed though since a lot of people use the site advisor or might come back to it if it works properly. the ratings it provides are good and reliable

Thanks Lukas. You should get in contact with the add-on author and report this issue. That way we can ensure the problem will be fixed for all users in a new version of the add-on. Closing as invalid due to external code.

We're now tracking such bugs. This doesn't mean it's something we can fix, merely something we hope to be able to point vendors to so they can investigate. This is an automated message.
