When having accounts for high-volume functional mailboxes or newsgroups, it is sometimes unwanted to have all the unread messages for those accounts reported in the system tray icon.
Please allow users to exclude an account for unread messages notification. Add a boolean setting to all accounts (mail and news) with the name "Exclude unread messages notification" with default value false. When set to true, that particular account will be excluded from unread messages notification.
Implementing this will allow users to get sane unread messages notification when working with high-volumne mail and news accounts that don't require unread messages notification.
Reproducible: Always

Wondering if there is a equivalent of bug 188754 for Thunderbird.
