User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0 When I right click on a link, in the previous version of firefox (currently upgraded to 4 now), open in new tab is on the top and open in new window is on the bottom. Previously they were reversed. This is quite an annoyance since I keep opening my links in a new window instead of tab. These right click options need to be reversed and this problem would be fixed. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Right click link 2.Open in new tab is switched with open in new window 3.
This change was intentionally made in bug 322736, to promote tabs more and also mirror the behaviour of IE, Chrome and Opera - therefore this bug will likely be wontfixed. Don't forget you can also open links in a new tab faster by middle mouse clicking or else ctrl+left clicking on Windows or cmd+left clicking on OS X.
