When I customize my layout, on the address bar line I have, beginning at the left, forward/back button, group your tabs button, bookmark button, home button, url entry space, google search space. When I close the customize view, the bookmark button moves back to its original location. If I re-open the customize view, it displays back on the left where I want it. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.right click the bookmark button, select customize. 2.drag the bookmark button to the left of the address bar. 3.close customize. Actual Results: The bookmark button remains in its original location, to the right of my bookmark toolbar. Expected Results: Place the bookmark button to the left of the address bar, where I placed it.

Duplication of bug 582139 ?

well, the two bugs will most likely end up being handled as one, so the difference is subtle.

I feel like this isn't a duplicate of bug 581238. This bug (64445) shouldn't be a WONTFIX. I've experienced this issue in Windows XP but *not* Mac OS X. I right click the toolbar and choose customize. I drag the Bookmark button (dropdown menu variant) to the toolbar. I put it where I want it. I click done. The Bookmark button disappears from the toolbar. So far I can reproduce this 100% of the time on Windows XP, 0% of the time on Mac OS X.
