Mozilla should include common features supplied by popular download managers,
such as:
1. resumable downloads (this is a biggie)
2. Automatically find and add alternate URL's
3. Segmented Downloads (multiple parts of same file at once from one or more URL's)
4. Setting for default or last used download directory.
5. This DM could be a mini sidebar app.

dupe of 7840, 18004, 25995 among others Reporter you should file an individual
bug for that one. Marking as duplicate of 7840 (no particular reason for that
bug but just because :)

it's actually a dupe of bug 75364 -> reopening to fix duplicate reference...
