Details
As part of the work to enable HTTP pipelining by default, we need a server set up so that Firefox instances can connect to it to check if a transparent proxy is mucking with requests.
For an example implementation that Pat McManus wrote to test the client side code see bug 603505. We aren't required to use this code by any stretch, but if we do use it we should audit it.
