Details

Linux (1999-05-14-08 m6) Win32 (1999-05-14-09-m6) Steps: 1. Display Inbox folder, 2. Close Message pane 3. Select a Un-read message, Actual result: Status changes to Read Expected result: Like 4.6, status of Un-read message should not be changed to Read when message pane is closed. Occurs in both win_nt 4.0 and Linux 2.0
Good one.

Target Milestone: M10
It'll be a while before this one gets fixed. Marking M10 because I won't be able to do this one until I figure out how to pass information between our front end and backend in a non-RDF way. I think by this time I'll have had to figure out views and window specific information.
I'll forward to verah to put in our release notes for M6.

Win_nt 4.0 (1999-1999-11-15-21 M11) Win_nt 4.0 (1999-1999-11-16-09 M12) Linux Redhat 6.0 (1999-1999-11-15-20 M11) Linux Redhat 6.0 (1999-1999-11-16-09 M12) I tried the same scenario on both platforms using the M11 and M12 builds. The results is: Message pane does not completely close. I can still see the partially suhject in the header area. Select a message, message still change status to READ. Re-open the bug.

You need to click on the splitter. Dragging won't close it all the way.

Scott. You are right. It is working when closing it with the splitter.
