User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0
Load the page mentioned and click "Choose files". In Windows 7, one would expect to see the new file browser with Favourites, Libraries .etc on the left but instead a Windows XP style open dialog box is offered by Firefox.
Google Chrome is the ONLY browser I have found so far which shows the correct Windows 7 dialog box. IE9 ironically is even worse, showing an unthemed XP dialog box ... uuggh :)
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open http://soundcloud.com/upload
2.Click "Choose files"
3.Observe the open dialog box presented
Actual Results:
Legacy Windows XP open dialog is shown in Windows 7
Expected Results:
New Windows 7 explorer open dialog should be shown, which is significantly easier to use and contains a Favourites section
I suggest that application is audited for any yucky XP dialog boxes, would be great never to bump into one again :)

This definitely isn't gonna happen on the branch so perhaps move it to trunk. The platform should be "All Windows 7". I'd also personally mark it as a trivial bug as opposed to an enhancement, but that's just me.
It's Adobe Flash's fault. This site is using Flash for the file upload UI. Firefox is not generating this upload dialog, Flash is, and there is absolutely nothing that we can do about it.
Chrome has a different (custom) build of Flash, so that's probably why it doesn't affect them. This bug also affects IE, BTW.

FWIW, this is WFM in Firefox 19 + Flash 11.5.502.118 (surpisingly not in Opera 12.10/MSIE 10).

I'm closing a lot of bugs which are filed as Adobe Flash bugs which are either irrelevant, not actionable, or not serious enough to track in the Mozilla bug tracker. For the most part, Flash bugs should be filed in Adobe bugbase, and we'll only track a few highly-critical issues in the Mozilla tracker.
