Just a thought: the Q element could possibly be extended further to support Unicode "smart quotes"; for example: Opening Q tag (English): * &#8220; (left double quotation mark, U+201C ISOnum) * &#8216; (left single quotation mark, U+2018 ISOnum) Closing Q tag (English): * &#8221; (right double quotation mark, U+201D ISOnum) * &#8217; (right single quotation mark, U+2019 ISOnum) Opening Q tag (German): * &#8222; (double low-9 quotation mark, U+201E) * &#8218; (single low-9 quotation mark, U+201A) ... Etc.
