In UI design speak this violates the "principle of least surprise". Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Ensure the page-search field is not visible 2. Hover a link VP. The overlink appears at the bottom left 3. Ensure the page-search field is visible (control-f, command-f on osx) 4. The overlink appears at the bottom right Actual Results: Step 4 VP the overlink appears at bottom right on top of page-search bar. Expected Results: Step 4 becomes the overlink appears at bottom left on top of page-search bar. In really small windows the screen space is lost when the search is visible and as a link is hovered in any case. If the idea is that left-to-right readers tend to scan a page in a Z-pattern then this leaves the obscured text to later in the Z it fails for right-to-left languages.
