I'm running the Litmus test for address search using Thunderbird/3.3a4pre ID:20110520000022 under Vista. Edit -> Find -> Search Addresses works fine for home phone, display name, screen name, organization, email and additional email but doesn't find anything for City or Street.
I'm searching the personal address book using "contains" and a single condition. All of the data is 7bit ASCII.
Reproducible: Always

I'm using the Console2 add-on to replace the built-in error console (it supports copying and pasting errors). I cleared all errors and warnings, did a search for an address using a city, and got the following error:
Error: 'JavaScript component does not have a method named: "observe"' when calling method: [nsIConsoleListener::observe] = NS_ERROR_XPC_JSOBJECT_HAS_NO_FUNCTION_NAMED
I don't get that when a search succeeds. That is with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.0; rv:5.0) Gecko/20110522 Thunderbird/3.3a4pre
