I see this on windows. Not sure if this should go to Editor or networking. Pls reassign to correct component, thanks! I do not see any error message from seamonkey when I enter an invalid folder name on my hard drive. Instead, the browser sometimes just freezes and crashes Steps: 1 Launch mozilla 2 In the url field, type in an invalid folder name like "d:\abcde\" 3 Hit the ENTER key 4 Observe that no error message appears and the browser either crashes or freezes. Iif nothing happens after the first time you hit ENTER, hit ENTER again
I do not see the browser freezing or crashing. When I type in d:\abcde\ it resolves to file:///d|/abcde/. The message in the console says Document file:///d|/abcde/ loaded succesfully. This is wrong, we should be displaying an error message that mozilla is unable to find file:///d|/abcde/

i see what you say..on the branch. On the trunk, if I hit ENTER twice, i crash (windows)
With a trunk tree pulled on 1/24 on windows, I do not crash when I hit enter twice.
