(Whiteboard: [needed beta][but afterwards])
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/535.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/14.0.793.0 Safari/535.1
Build Identifier: Lightning 1.0b4pre
For most plateforms, there are no nightly builds since June 21st. Look under http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/calendar/lightning/nightly/2011/06/. Before that date, there was at least one build per plateform per day. On June 21st, there is no Linux64 build. After June 21st, there is only the OSX build that's available.
(This is true for miramar, and it seems the same for central)
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go under nightly builds link
Actual Results:
There is only OSX builds since 22nd
Expected Results:
There should be at least a build per plateform
It is important to have a nightly build of lightning, mostly because TB5 beta 2 is out and none of the previous nightly build supports that version. It would be great to support TB5 about the same time it goes gold. Meanwhile, we can't use/test lightning againt latest TB5 version.

Please test the Lightning 1.0b4 Release Candidate with Thunderbird 5: http://weblogs.mozillazine.org/calendar/2011/06/lightning_10b4_release_candida.html

Does it means nightly builds are stopped when RCs are built?

I don't think so. But you asked for a Lightning build to test with Thunderbird 5 and I therefore pointed you to the RC. Maybe the servers just hang and someone needs to kick them to bring them back. Or maybe the fix for Bug 666534 had side effects on the Lightning comm-miramar builds.

Normally nightly builds shouldn't need to be stopped, but given that I've done the release work manually this time (which was much faster than fixing the build system), I turned off the builders to make sure there are no conflicts.
I will turn them on again as needed, given the release is due on Tuesday this should be the latest date. We can use this bug as a placeholder so I don't forget.
Flags: blocking-calendar1.0+

The RC works fine for now and I just want to thank both of you for the updates on the builders. Hope to see nightly builds restarted soon. ;)

Any news if and when the nightly builds will be switched back on?
I assume that the current comm-central builders will stay on comm-central?
What will happen to the current comm-miramar builders? Will they stay or will they be switched to comm-aurora or comm-beta or comm-release or something else?

It seems the current Lightning nightly doesn't work with Thunderbird Shredder 8.* anymore (completely blank calendar pane). Could you please bring out at least one version of Lightning that works with Thunderbird Shredder 8.*?
BTW: Events that I enter into my Google calendar via my Anroid 2.3 phone are marked a "Tentative" in Lightning. I don't know where in the "chain" (phone, Google, Lightning) this is being caused.

Bumping Severity to critical because no existing Lightning build will work with any current trunk nightlies of Thunderbird or SeaMonkey, see bug 669834 comment #8 sqq.

Builders are up again. Sorry for the delay, but given I want to fix the urgent bugs from the last release I concentrated on that instead.

Thanks Fallen. With only 24 hours in a day, and what with other unspecified activities, it isn't always easy to find some place for Mozilla in one's spare time.
Do you know if a followup (and with which bug#) has been filed for the fact that the L64 and (especially) Mac builders are up in flames?

Linux (L32 and L64) builders are back up, green and uploading. Filed followup bug 671995 for the Mac builders (and maybe Windows).
