If you visit a web page with a <video> which does not have any resources which we can play (i.e. all H.264) a grey error box will be shown in the place of the video. If you right click on the video element, you'll see a context menu and the throbber will show. The throbber shouldn't show, nothing's happening! See url for an example. Present in: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:7.0a1) Gecko/20110628 Firefox/7.0a1 Not present in: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:5.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/5.0 I assume it's a regression from either Bug 667323 or Bug 518008.
False alarm, I applied my nightly update and it worked, must have been fixed by bug 667322!
