Steps to reproduce:

Thunderbird is connected via IMAP to my tds.net account (which is run by GMail).  This account receives mostly spam emails with a few good emails.  Spam emails are filtered by GMail; Thunderbird downloads them to the [Gmail]/Spam folder and does not show a notification when new spam emails arrive, which is good.  The problem occurs when a good email arrives and Thunderbird downloads it to the Inbox folder.


Actual results:

When this happens, Thunderbird displays a notification saying "1 new message" or something of the sort.  Thus far this is correct.  But the notification shows a preview of the content of the most recent email in the [Gmail]/Spam folder.


Expected results:

Instead, it should show a preview of the content of the new email which has been downloaded to the Inbox folder.
