+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #665684 +++ +++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #658874 +++ For making SeaMonkey 2.2 Beta 1 public, we'll need to update the website. This can happen once mirror saturation is good enough, though it's usually a good idea to also have final_verification run and OK before going public on the website.

(In reply to comment #1) > Jens, please double check this push/results (Leaving open pending your peek) Thanks for the preparations, they are mostly fine (I guess /I/ would have missed the "be" addition!). Some nits: > /src/releases/2.3b1.en.html You replaced "ca" in the "be" langpack line instead of adding a new one, which I fixed now. Also the release date needed to be updated. > /src/releases/seamonkey2.3/changes.en.html Consistently used 6.0 Beta text and links for both FF and TB. > /src/releases/seamonkey2.3/index.en.html Added TODO comments and updated the Features link to point to 2.3. Actual content changes will be done on the relnotes bug. I'll also have to add links to relevant security fixes to the relnotes of 2.1 through 2.3, which I'll do in the next batch. > /src/releases/index.en.html [not part of your list] The Beta block needed to be uncommented again (with the correct beta release date). Also I removed the SeaMonkey Trunk Tracker pointer from all Changes pages after 2.1b2 (2.1b3, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3) which was the last version where I was able to actually deliver the additional information. Checking in src/releases/2.3b1.en.html; /www/seamonkeyproject-org/src/releases/2.3b1.en.html,v <-- 2.3b1.en.html new revision: 1.2; previous revision: 1.1 done Checking in src/releases/index.en.html; /www/seamonkeyproject-org/src/releases/index.en.html,v <-- index.en.html new revision: 1.179; previous revision: 1.178 done Checking in src/releases/seamonkey2.1/changes.en.html; /www/seamonkeyproject-org/src/releases/seamonkey2.1/changes.en.html,v <-- changes.en.html new revision: 1.4; previous revision: 1.3 done Checking in src/releases/seamonkey2.1b3/changes.en.html; /www/seamonkeyproject-org/src/releases/seamonkey2.1b3/changes.en.html,v <-- changes.en.html new revision: 1.3; previous revision: 1.2 done Checking in src/releases/seamonkey2.2/changes.en.html; /www/seamonkeyproject-org/src/releases/seamonkey2.2/changes.en.html,v <-- changes.en.html new revision: 1.5; previous revision: 1.4 done Checking in src/releases/seamonkey2.3/changes.en.html; /www/seamonkeyproject-org/src/releases/seamonkey2.3/changes.en.html,v <-- changes.en.html new revision: 1.2; previous revision: 1.1 done Checking in src/releases/seamonkey2.3/index.en.html; /www/seamonkeyproject-org/src/releases/seamonkey2.3/index.en.html,v <-- index.en.html new revision: 1.2; previous revision: 1.1 done
bah, typo fix ("6.0ibeta"): Checking in changes.en.html; /www/seamonkeyproject-org/src/releases/seamonkey2.3/changes.en.html,v <-- changes.en.html new revision: 1.3; previous revision: 1.2 done
added links to Firefox Security Advisories http://www.mozilla.org/security/known-vulnerabilities/firefox36.html and http://www.mozilla.org/security/known-vulnerabilities/firefox40.html for 2.1 http://www.mozilla.org/security/known-vulnerabilities/firefox.html for the rapid releases (2.2 and following), noting the relevant Firefox version in parentheses.
