Trying to make scripted calls to https://build.mozilla.org/buildapi/self-serve to trigger rebuilds in Autoland and the autolanduser created in bug 661629 doesn't auth properly in my script. If I use my own ldap credentials I can run this (script attached without username/password) and I'd like to be able to do the same with autolanduser when connected to build-vpn as the intended automation for this module will live on the build network (probably cruncher).
After chatting with arr and jabba in #ops, it seems like we just need this:
jabba: so, I think in order for that to work, the user needs to have a mail attribute and potentially be marked as an employee

FYI, that's because the apache config for that location on build.m.o has an AuthLDAPURL which is
ldap://<ldap_server>/dc=mozilla?mail
