Ok using the website http://www.iana.org/domains/example/ and pasting with standard X paste middle mouse button: (a) if I paste http://www.iana.org/domains/example/ into the main pane of a tab (middle mouse button) then the tab goes to this location. (b) if I paste www.iana.org/domains/example/ into the main pane of a tab nothing happens. I'm not sure what "awesome bar" is...

This is triggered by Bug 414345 . if www.iana.org/domains/example/ is not valid url - > ths bug is INVAlID if valid url as Bug 515512 - > ths bug is VAlID I think
