The Search All Messages feature does not return target search results when the target message is in the Outbox. Steps to reproduce: 1. Go offline. 2. Compose a message with a particular TargetString in the subject and body. 3. Click "Send Later" (which replaces the "Send" button in offline mode). 4. Observe that the message is in the Outbox. 5. Use the search bar to search for TargetString Expected results: 6. Observe that the message you just created is among the results. Actual results: 6. Observe that the result set is empty, or that the message you just created is not part of the result set.

protz, does this affect conversations?

Not really. Just means that if you reply to message A, and the reply is in the outbox, then when clicking on message A, conversations won't find the message that's in the outbox. It's bound to go anyway, so that doesn't seem too worrying for me.

Update to clarify my position : yeah, this is definitely a problem for the global search. Less of a problem for conversations, though.

WBT, There is a piece I forgot - that messages don't get indexed when TB is set to be offline. So can you test if the message gets indexed but Thunderbird is "online" and network is disabled?
