I have a account which I have both IMAP access and webmail access. If I delete
the last mail of the INBOX folder via webmail and mozilla checks for mail,
mozilla removes the mail from the message pane when doing the:
In OnFolderLoaded for imap://gemal01@fep2.sprawl.dk
but the message pane is not cleared. So I can see a mail in the message when
while having no mail in the thread pane.

this bug is a dup of 62938

Bug 62938 refers to the stand-alone window. I believe this is talking about the
general 3 pane. Re-opening for re-triage.

Interesting. I've been tracking bug 62938 because I didn't realize that it was
a "seperate window" bug. Actually, it isn't at all, and that bug just
examplifies it that way.
Should #62938 be changed to deal with both of these issues? This issue (without
a separate window) is one that has plagued me for quite a long while now...
In the mean time I'll vote for this one too...
This could very well be a DUP of that bug, but without knowing the code path,
it's hard to say.

This bug report is registered in the SeaMonkey product, but has been without a comment since the inception of the SeaMonkey project. This means that it was logged against the old Mozilla suite and we cannot determine that it's still valid for the current SeaMonkey suite. Because of this, we are setting it to an UNCONFIRMED state.
If you can confirm that this report still applies to current SeaMonkey 2.x nightly builds, please set it back to the NEW state along with a comment on how you reproduced it on what Build ID, or if it's an enhancement request, why it's still worth implementing and in what way.
If you can confirm that the report doesn't apply to current SeaMonkey 2.x nightly builds, please set it to the appropriate RESOLVED state (WORKSFORME, INVALID, WONTFIX, or similar).
If no action happens within the next few months, we move this bug report to an EXPIRED state.

MASS-CHANGE:
This bug report is registered in the SeaMonkey product, but still has no comment since the inception of the SeaMonkey project 5 years ago.
Because of this, we're resolving the bug as EXPIRED.
If you still can reproduce the bug on SeaMonkey 2 or otherwise think it's still valid, please REOPEN it and if it is a platform or toolkit issue, move it to the according component.

Still there:
- Run two instances of SM, one doing POP3, one IMAP on the same mailbox.
- Display the message in the IMAP instance.
- Download the mail on the POP side.
The mail will vanish from the IMAP threadpane, but still be displayed in the message pane.
