Correction. The bottom of the "j" is cut off, and all the other letters lose a pixel or two off the bottom. So it's not like you can't read what it says, but a very noticeable problem nevertheless.

No, it should be there but something happened to break it recently. I think it started after hewitt landed his theme stuff.

I found it busted somewhere between 2002-1-11 where it is fine, and 2002-1-17 where I see it is a problem.

sometimes I see this in recent nightlies: sometimes I don't, I dont know, it appear like a XUL problem, it close to random, because sometimes I just see no status bar, but just the border for the window on the bottom.

this appears fixed by ben's bookmark checkins in build 3-13-03 w2k.

This is fixed by bug 128815, but if you do Sidebar > Bookmarks > Manage, you just get the window border and no status bar.. hmm.
