It is possible for a user to download a Firefox update and not yet apply it, meanwhile a further update is issued a short time later (as in the case of 6.0.1 and 6.0.2) and the first update is applied. When Firefox restarts, the user, who has just updated, is told "Your Firefox is out of date" (see Bug 684979). Should Firefox check that the downloaded update is the most recent one available before applying it?
