The "create in" button in the Add Bookmark window doesn't keep the dialog expanded after you close the dialog, which is pretty annyoing. I think the button should be removed altogether, and the dialog be permanently expanded. Cc ben.bucksch@beonex.com, who expressed an interest in fixing this problem by removing the dialog expander (in bug 47599).

From my experience (and comments from others), everything else leads to lots of unsorted bookmarks in one folder. But that might be subjective.

Ben B is right. The expander should be ditched.

Btw, the "new bookmark" dialog in the manage bookmarks window doesn't have an expander (the folders are never shown). I think this is confusing, and that the folders should be shown, but with the selected folder (or parent of the selected bookmark/separator) automatically selected in the dialog.

The expander seems to be gone now. Was this bug fixed?

I see the same. Dialog is always expanded now (folder list is always visible) and the button is gone. Marking FIXED (even though I don't know, if Ben G. fixed it).
