The text "Maximum number of pages maintained by Session History for each window" used in the history preference panel should wrap if it can't be shortened.
alecf, d'you own the content in this panel?
I dunno, kind of.. if matt wants to fix it then I won't stop him :) all we have to do is change a <text> to a <html>
cc'ing drbrain who might be able to fix this, if it's that easy. :)
Attached patch Proposed Patch (deleted) — Splinter Review
Here is the patch mentioned in alecf's 20010215 comment with <text> to <html> I can't verify that it works exactly because other boxes in the layout adjust the minimum width for me. It seems I am constrained by some other element.
oof.. we loose an access key, as well as the clickable behavior of the label if we do that. I guess it wasn't that easy :) cc'ing ben to see if he has an enhanced <html> or <text> that will do this for us.
The lost accesskey is bug 56701. The clickable behaviour can be restored by a bit of XBL. I might be able to figure out a new widget to do this.
