Current behavior: - clicking in the middle of the column picker only makes a menu. - clicking on the edge of the column picker only depresses the column picker "button". Expected behavior: - clicking anywhere in the column picker should depress the "button" and create a menu. This bug happens in both Modern and Classic, although in Classic you can't trigger this bug by clicking on the *right* edge of the column picker. (In Modern, any edge will do.) The edge problem was introduced sometime after 012504. The current behavior for clicking in the middle of the column picker has been around for a while.

WONTFIX (reality is that this will never be important).

I hit this about a quarter of the time when I try to activate a column picker. New users might hit this bug and think it's a button that doesn't do anything. By the way, this bug is present in both tree and outliner.

I don't understand what is actually a problem here. Reporter, could you check again and possibly provide additional details ?
