User Agent:
Build ID: 20110928134238

Steps to reproduce:

I tried to hang a tab

Actual results:

The entire browser affected!!!

Expected results:

I could go to other tabs and safely close the hung tab. Why? Open IE or Chrome and then open multiple tabs (not multiple windows). Then open Task Manager or something similar. You see? Both IE and Chrome have one process for every tab. Then try it with Firefox. No matter how many tabs you have opened, there is ONLY ONE PROCESS!!! What about IE? If you open n tabs, you will get n tab processes and a master process, for each window. Learn IE now!!!

Currently yes, but work is being done in that direction (plugins already run in a separate process for instance). The mobile version already works like this, for performance reasons. But on the desktop it's slower than the current version and uses much more memory.
