I'm implementing functionality for Visual Studio project generation (bug 687388) and will need to modify PyMake to track the source file location of variables. Currently, the source file location (valueloc) is thrown away when the parser information is fed into the Variables object. I'm filing this now as a heads-up. Implementation will land "eventually."
After some consideration, I don't think I need this. It might be an interesting feature someday, but it isn't warranted today, so WONTFIX.
