Details

The spec requires timeupdate to fire no more frequently than 66Hz and no less frequently than 4Hz. Firefox aims to fire at 4Hz but ends up closer to 3.5Hz. Testcase linked, timeupdate deltas are logged to the developer console. Another testcase: http://areweplayingyet.org/support-consistent-timeupdate-interval
