Java won't install

Details
Running Moz 0.8 under root and installing the Java 2 xpi (selected automatically
by the plugin helper), I get a message saying "Installation succesful".
Restarting the browser, as root or any other user, demonstrates the Java plugin
has not been registered, and tries to d/l again when viewing Java content.
The files are there (/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/java2) but it's not registered.
I must mention that the rpm installation for 0.8 was clean: no other mozilla or
Netscape browser(s) were installed.

You should run 'ln -s java2/plugin/i386/ns600/libjavaplugin_oji.so .' in the
mozilla/plugins directory. The fact that that symlink is not created by the
install is a know bug.
