From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/4.76 [en] (Windows NT 5.0; U) BuildID: 2001021508 It appears that Mozilla is ignoring the settings for the Manually configured proxy and going direct to the 'net when retreiving images and links. I am using the "JunkBuster" proxy to filter out web-ads and this works well in Netscape 4.76. Using Mozilla v0.8 I find that many images that should be blocked are being displayed. Having enabled debug information from the JunkBuster logfile I find that Mozilla is not making requests to the junkbuster proxy for much of a web-page content. The proxy is configured for HTTP at address 127.0.0.1 Port 8000 I have cleared the memory and disk caches prior to testing this bug. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Configure a Manual Proxy 2. Visit a site that should be served by the proxy server. 3. The proxy server appears to be bypassed and information is retreived direct from the 'net Actual Results: Should have had a hit in the proxy server handling a request for an image. No indication of any request made to the proxy. Expected Results: Mozilla should route all HTTP traffic through the configured proxy.
