Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Ubuntu; X11; Linux x86_64; rv:8.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/8.0 Build ID: 20111115183813 Steps to reproduce: Type a name in the "quick filter" area which corresponds to a contact name manually set in the Address book, which is slightly different from the name "included" in his or her mails. For instance, people frequently remove special characters from their names to make it easier for international readers and for example, specify "Gregory X." in their email client instead of "Grégory X." So typically, if you add this person to your address book you will probably want to write it the right way : the name in the address book will be different from the name in the mails themselves. Actual results: Emails do not appear in the quick filter results if you type the contact name manually set in the address book. If you delete the contact to check what the "original" contact name was, and filter messages with the old, unchanged name : filter results will be correct. Expected results: The quick filter should be able to check names manually set in the address book.
