our workaround for Q4 will be to document that the dev preview release is incompatible with Nightly.
Fabrice points out we should set the maxVersion of our Add-on to less than 11.
Spoke with Bill about this bug. We'll have to note in release notes that FF >= 11 will not work with the developer preview. This is important to fix so upping to P2 by Beta so bumping up priority
