When running a fresh copy of a Mozilla nightly (in this case, 2001030621) with no existing profile (rm -r ~/.mozilla), Mozilla will migrate the NS4 profile without problem. But, the second time Mozilla starts, it will do it AGAIN. After doing the second migration, Mozilla does not do it again on the third start. I end up with the following in my ~/.mozilla: appreg hume hume-1 registry Both the hume and the hume-1 directories contain a <scrambled>.slt directory (why is THAT necessary?). The hume-1 directory is the newer one, Mozilla seems to not touch the hume directory ever again. I should note that Mozilla does not crash at any time when producing this behavior.
