Follow-up to bug 376997. Standalone images are currently centred in the "content view". They should be centred in the window. The toolbars height should be taken into account and removed.

This doesn't seem to make sense, and I don't see how it could be implemented in a sane way.

When a window is maximized, the 90+ pixels occupied by toolbars put the image lower than it should be. Also, I think eyes focus more on the top part of the screen than the bottom part. I don't have any study or research to back up this claim though. I just feel it would be nicer to use. For the implementation, just removing around 100px without actually measuring the toolbars height could be a simpler alternative.

So this isn't really about toolbars and you're actually saying "images shouldn't be centered vertically"? If so, please re-summarize this bug accordingly.

I don't think users would understand why there was a larger gap at the bottom of the image than at the top when websites don't render their vertical centering this way. The workaround if you still desire this behavior is to use browser fullscreen (F11) when viewing an image and it will appear vertically centered on the whole screen.
