Currently when one taps and holds on a link in order to open a context menu to open the designated link in a new tab, nothing happens: STR: 1. See bug URL (i.e, http://thestar.com/iphone) 2. Tap and hold on any news article ER: Context menu ("Open in a new tab") AR: Nothing happens. All I see are GeckoLayerController & GeckoPanZoomController related events when tapping and holding on a link. -- Samsung Nexus S (Android 4.0.3) Mozilla/5.0 (Android; Linux armv7l; rv:12.0a1) Gecko/20120118 Firefox/12.0a1 Fennec/12.0a1
Summary: Unable to access context menu on links → Unable to select and access context menu on links
The second issue is that I cant select any of the links.
(In reply to Aaron Train [:aaronmt] from comment #1) > The second issue is that I cant select any of the links. (Scratch that, I can select them, just cant trigger a context menu on the article links).

still a problem? what about on maple?
I used to have this problem but it seems to work now on the latest Nightly.
This is a problem on a tinderbox maple build from earlier today. Same on today's trunk nightly. Cameron this is a problem on the specific site mentioned in the URL section of this bug.
ack. I was having this problem more generally previously, but can confirm I can't get the context menu on that URL's links.
Correct. It is a problem on this site, as outlined in the bug summary.

The 'links' on those page are not real links. See with desktop Firefox, you don't get the link context menu there, either. They're using <div>'s with onclick='location=' etc. So I would say, this is invalid or a tech evangelism bug.
