User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1) AppleWebKit/535.7 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/16.0.912.75 Safari/535.7 Steps to reproduce: When I write the addresses in an email, autocomplete only works when I start typing the beginning of the "display name". I imported all my addresses from another application, so the address entries don't have "first name" and "last name" as a separate entry in the contact. Actual results: autcomplete works when I type the beginning of the "display name". E.g. if I write "joh" it suggests "John Henderson". But if I write "hen" nothing comes up. Expected results: If I write "hen", autocomplete should recommend "John Henderson", i.e. search for the sequence of the letters in the whole "display name" string, not just at the beginning (or perhaps only starting after a space character). This feature would be practical if I have eight different Johns in my address book, and just want to type his last name, instead of scrolling through a list, oder typing his whole name. Also, if I only remember a persons last name, this would prove easier than manually looking through the address book.
Just realized that the address book search actually offers that functionality: if I search for a part of the display name or email address, it finds the address.
