BigFiles will allow users to leverage services like DropBox and YouSendIt when sending emails with large attachments. (See bug 698925).
We need a management tool for all of those accounts. This bug will track progress on that work.

I tried the try build from bwinton. The list in Outgoing is empty an when I press add, I'm becoming a window saying "We're sorry, but the current version of Thunderbird only allows one account from each cloud storage provider.".
This was the first time I tested this and as said before no storage account is in the list.

Should add a dialog item (spinner) that allows user to set the BigFiles threshold.

Is the current default (1 MB) too big? Too small?
I'm just trying to get a sense whether the issue is that we have a bad default, or if there's no default that would work for the majority of people.

Don't know. I have the impression that 1MB should be a good first attempt, but it may vary between email service provider or usage patterns (a designer's house might be used handling 3MB attachments, whereas large corps will limit them to 800kB).
I think we should give users the ability to set this limit to their taste without creating extra complexity. The attachment control panel is sufficiently far from everyday UI to not get in the way of users, therefore can support one additional setting control.
